“Ellen, Roxanne needs a place to crash tonight and I offered to let her stay here,” Angie said. The pleading in her eyes went unspoken but understood. They both knew it was against the rules of the Jr. Collage to have overnight visitors in the dorms. Angie continued to beg Ellen with her eyes, hoping she would agree to let her friend stay with them for the night.
“Sure,” Ellen said letting her roommate’s wide open eyes blink. She saw the huge smile spring instaly on Angie’s face. Ellen was actually grateful for the company. She didn’t really feel like going to sleep right then. Sometimes when neither her or Angie could sleep they would stay up till the wee hours off the morning just talking.
